TCMS EduVersal is engineered on a modular basis with the support of an underlying layered technology. The separation of presentation layer, business logic layer and database layer allows us to combine and orchestrate complex pieces of business processes and standards while it feels and looks simple to the users. The engine runs on the robust and popular .Net framework technology and it utilizes a mixture of XML, COM, COM+, Web Services and Advance JavaScript technologies to achieve optimum system performance and enrich the features and functionalities. TCMS EduVersal can be used in an intranet, extranet and internet environment. This provides our client with the ability to administer their campus from anywhere, anytime.

TCMS EduVersal technology is constantly being upgraded in the ‘internet time’. We are looking to further enhance the user’s experience with the introduction of AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript Across XML). This technology will enhance the usability by improving the system interactivity, speed and functionality.

It is also part of our roadmap to embark on the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategy to allow the user to have a seamless experience using different systems in a complex enterprise education environment. SOA promotes software reusability of multiple disparate systems in the organization. This in turn, improves the ROI on the technology investment.

The other focus of our future technology roadmap is to integrate with peripherals, like RFID solution to improve the usability of the systems. The objective is to have as much data or information automatically captured by the system without relying on human interaction.
